Company Background
The company’s first events, held in Manchester and London in 1993, were attended by senior executives of health authorities from all over the UK. The events had high profile speakers and focused on achieving positive change in the Health Service.
The company then started its GP programme in 1994, to help GPs meet their postgraduate education requirements. The aim was to provide quality local courses, focusing on essential clinical and non-clinical topics, in most major locations throughout the UK. The GP programme has developed over the years, and continues to be extremely popular with GPs, by providing high quality CPD medical education which meets the needs of the modern GP. For some clinical themes, practice nurses are also invited to attend with their GP colleagues.
The company introduced its educational events for community nurses in 1996, and later its exhibitions, designed to help community nurses keep abreast of the latest developments in therapies and health products. These regional exhibitions, together with their complementary educational sessions, continue to prove popular with a wide range of community nurses.
